Dean Gallagher is a senior member in the Rescue team and is usually team leader. He is in constant rivalry with his younger brother, Chase and has deep feeling for Lara, another member of the team. He is portrayed by Les Hill
Bio[]
Dean is the team leader during most incidents. He is the brother of Chase Gallagher and lachie Gallagher and is the son of Shane Gallagher. He is usually paired up with Lara or Chase. He has good relationships with the rest of the team and has romantic feelings for Lara. He have tried to show his feelings for her many time but he was always interrupted, the first time by Station Officer Jake Hudson of the State Fire Brigade, who looks like he has insincere feelings for Knight.
In the last episode he tells Lara he loves he her. He is usually the first person on site and has the most experience of any of the crew, other than Vince. In season 1 episode 12 Lara is stuck in a dam and Dean has to pull her leg out from under a car. When Lara is in the ambulance she tell him she loves him however she was on drugs In season 1 episode 13 he tells Lara she is not good enough for Hamish. Later in that episode Lara is taken hostage by rick and he saves her after having a fight inside the Special Operations Rescue and Ambulance Service station.
In Season 2 Episode 2 Dean drowns and Lara has to do mouth to mouth. While Dean was in the hospital he has a dream about him and Lara kissing. After a day Dean is team leader again and he goes to the truck. He collapses Lara finds him and he is taken to the hospital. When there him and the female firefighter, ( Anika Ereburg ) kiss and Lara sees. That night Dean is taken home and has another dream about him and Lara kissing.
